Robert Rudolph Golly, born March 10, 1929, is the son of the late Ignatz and Anna Gollobitsch. He was raised and educated in Hammond, IN, and graduated from TF-South High School. His career as a Barber allowed him to support his family. Robert served his country honorably from 1948 – 1952 in the United States Navy and served actively in the Korean War. He enjoyed going fishing and spending time with family. Robert was a loving and beautiful spirit who will be missed by all those who knew him.
Survivors include his children: Rob (Lisa) Golly of LaFayette, LA, Randy (Lori) Golly of Dechered, TN, Lisa (David) Trump of Crown Point, IN, Joe (Debra) Golly of Griffith, IN; three grandchildren; Jillian, Alyssa, and Jared numerous great grandchildren.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Robert's memory to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.act.alz.org During COVID-19 the family has asked that friends and family refrain from sending condolence cards and flower’s directly to the family.

Funeral services have been made under the direction and care of Chapel Lawn Funeral Home – Crown Point, IN. A private burial will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
