Michael Gulick, age 70, peacefully passed away Monday, April 20, 2020. He is survived by his daughter, Samantha Gulick; one brother, David (Betty) Gulick; one niece Lisa Gulick; and nephew, Derek Gulick; and many other nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by his wife, Harriet in December 2013.
Michael served his country honorably in the United States Army and served actively in the Vietnam War. He was a machinist who loved to fix everything he could. Michael worked at the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago for 18 years before retiring in 2018. He had a passion for running, live music, Disneyworld, and traveling with his daughter. He was a caregiver to those around him in every sense of the word, always there for Harriet and Samantha no matter what and put their needs before his own. Michael will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens with a graveside service following at 12:15 p.m. Due to COVID-19, capacity for the services will be limited to only small groups at a time.
