Judy Ann Adamson age 76, peacefully passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's.
Judy was born January 15, 1945 in Cincinnati, Ohio and spent the majority of her life in California, before finally moving to Illinois in 1993.
She is survived by her daughter, Lorri (Ed) McCourt-O'Donnell; her sons, Robert Klinghagen, Michael Adamson (Tracy), Scott Adamson (Amy), her beloved grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Karlyn, Cameron, Ashara, Samantha, Patrick and William, her sister Elanine, and many nieces and nephews, and dear friends.
Preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband Robert Klinghagen, her father and mother and her brother Albert.
Judy faced many challenges in her life, she faced each one with grace, dignity and perseverance, and passed those traits on to her children and grandchildren. She was always a rock for her family and friends as they faced life's challenges, offering comfort and sound advice. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an avid knitter and gifted many scarves and blankets to the underserved in the community. Judy made friends with everyone she met.
Services were held privately by the family. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association in her name would be appreciated.
