Evelyn Marie Lonzo Alb

Evelyn was born July 13, 1921 in Greenbay, Wisconsin to the late Ulysses and Caroline (Creapleo) Lonzo. Also preceding her in death is her husband of 70 years George Alb, her daughter Karen Marie Hall, son George Alb, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Leaving to cherish her memories are her son James (Carole) Alb, son-in-law James R Hall, four grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

She was a faithful Greenbay Packers fan from the beginning, marrying a Chicago Bears fan made interesting Sundays. Evelyn was a woman ahead of her time with her independence. She was always on the go until just a few years ago. She was a constant caregiver to many generations of her family. Evelyn enjoyed knitting and crocheting, especially blankets for her new additions of her family.

A celebration of her life will be Monday, November 10, 2014 at 5:00 pm at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens (8178 South Cline Ave.; Schererville, Indiana 46375), with Father Theodore Mens officiating.
