Denise Marie Gallo (nee Johnson), age 58, of Cedar Lake, IN passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, John Gallo; three children: Timothy (Arica) Gallo, Lori (Craig) Stone and Eric (Amanda) Gallo; mother, Jean Johnson; seven grandchildren: Katie, Jordan, Matthew, Bryce, Aubrie, Robert and Colton; brother, Max Johnson Jr.; two sisters: Julia (Mark) Hendricks and Linda (JR) Cawthron; brother, Elden Johnson; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other cherished family and friends. Denise was preceded in death by her father, Max Johnson Sr. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 S. Cline Ave (one-half mile south of U.S. 30) Schererville, IN. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home.
