Charlie D. Hall, Jr.

Charlie D. Hall, Jr., age 61, of Portage, IN passed away peacefully on August 30, 2022. Charlie was the beloved father to Charlie D. (Crystal) Hall, III, Christy L. Hall, Zachary V. Hall, Paul M. Schmitt and Anthony P. Molnar; cherished grandfather to Andrea L. Hall, Lucas E. Hall, Alysha A. Hall, Victoria L. Krueger, Bradley A J Lach and London I. Lach; great-grandfather to Amariah R. Muiser; former spouses, Robin L. Naymon, Catherine M. Burton and Diane F. Hall; loving son to Charlie D. and Shirley M. Hall; cherished brother to Linda I. (the late Tom) Sternberg and the late Cindy (the late Carl) Schlunt; and uncle to many. Charlie retired after over 30 years of faithful employment at US Steel. He was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman. He recently began to enjoy the game of golf. He was an avid motorsports enthusiast and accomplished billiards player. Knowing Charlie was knowing that he loved his dogs. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, especially attending and participating with their sporting events. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 10:00 am at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
