IN THE CARE OF
Chapel Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens
Amanda "Mandi" Jane Lacy, age 34, of Cedar Lake, IN passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022. Mandi was born November 5, 1987 in Munster, IN to Debby Seldomridge and John Domka.
Mandi was and always will be the most amazing wife and mother a person could ever ask for. One of her biggest passions in life was watching the show Friends, and she was the true meaning of a fanatic! Mandi was always down for a good snuggle, whether it was snuggling her “Buggy” on the couch while getting her head rubbed or watching a good Disney movie underneath a big blanket with her girls. She was a big fan of music and loved to slow dance around the house or teach the girls to shake their booty’s to the latest hits. Mandi was always down for a girls night out on the town, going to get her nails done, or being the hostess with the mostest. She loved to shop at Target, was always “all in” for a poker game, and her favorite thing was “patio time” with friends, talking and laughing the night away. Her smile was endearing, her heart was filled with love, and she will forever and always be loved and missed!
Mandi was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Virginia Cox; her maternal great-grandmother, Martha Miller; her paternal grandmother, Theresa Domka; and her paternal grandfather, Frank Domka.
Mandi is survived by her husband, Brian Lacy; two loving daughters, Alexis and Hayli Lacy; her mother, Debby Seldomridge (Brian); her father, John Domka (Tracey); her mother-in-law, Diane Lacy; and her father-in-law, Randy Lacy; two brothers, Mathew Domka (Arianne) and Connor Lepacek; brother-in-law, Nick Lacy; two nephews, Joshua Lacy-Polletta and Justin Lacy; step siblings, Michael Seldomridge, Alex Van Vuren (Amy), Max Van Vuren, Danielle Slocum (Joshua), Casey Hendricks (Phillip) and Elizabeth Lindahl; and a host of many cousins and extended family.
A Public Visitation for Mandi will be held Monday, April 4, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307, followed by a Funeral Service at 6:30 PM.
