Robert B. “Bob” McHugh of Croton-on-Hudson, NY passed away on October 17, 2019 at the age of 56. Bob was born to Robert G. and Mary (Kelleher) McHugh on May 14, 1963 in Passaic, NJ. Bob met his beloved wife Patricia in February 1989 in New York City. Patty and Bob were married on July 2, 1994. Bob always worked in banking. Bob dearly enjoyed the Rinehart cottage on Canandaigua Lake. The spot embodied Bob’s gentle spirit. It carried no TV reception or WIFI but he listened to music, swam, and read books. Bob watched his kids learn to swim and play along the rustic waterfront. Bob never yelled or got angry; he was patient and did anything for his wife and kids. Bob is survived by his wife of 25 years Patty McHugh, and his children Tara, Kyle, and Kristen.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2019 from 3-5pm at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Monday, October 21, 2019 at Holy Name of Mary Church, 110 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson, NY. Committal is private.
