Robert Charles Brown

Robert Charles Brown, aka Bobby, was born on March 5, 1953, to the late Richard and Lillian Miles Brown, in Riverhead, New York. He was the seventh of ten children. Bobby entered eternal rest on July 14, 2024.

He attended schools in the Riverhead School District and was regularly active. He met and married Sara Hedgebeth. He loved fishing and hunting. He had worked for many years with Nikolich Sanitation, in Southampton, New York.

Bobby is predeceased by both parents, his wife Sara, his daughter Angela Alvarado (Noel), his son Shawn Brown (Alyssa), brother Roosevelt Jackson, all of Riverhead, NY, and brother Lawrence “Duke” Brown (Irma), of Hephzibah, Ga.

He leaves to mourn him three daughters; Teresa Brown and Natasha Hedgebeth, both of Rochester, NY, Lucretia Hedgebeth, of Riverhead, NY, two sons; Troy Brown (Andrea), of Hampton, Ga, Cornelius Hedgebeth (Marie), of Riverhead, NY, three brothers; Lindy Jackson, of Orlando, Fl, Richard Brown, of Riverhead, NY, Michael Brown (Linda), of Bellport, NY, four sisters; Frances Lee and Shari Brown, both of Augusta, Ga, Magaret Brown (Harold) and Sharon Brown, both of Riverhead, NY, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many friends.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, July 19th from 4-8pm at Edward F Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520, where a funeral service will take place at 7:30pm. Interment will be private.
