Helen Frances Cole

September 15, 1925 – September 21, 2018

Helen F. Viers Cole, 93, of Cross Lanes, WV, passed away peacefully after a short illness on September 21, 2018. Helen was a member of Hopewell Primitive Baptist Church in Cross Lanes.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. (Tex) Cole, her parents Pleasant and Fannie Ethel Nolen Viers, her Sisters Nora Smith and Pauline Welden and brothers Carl, Len, Russ and John Viers.

Helen will be greatly missed by her sisters; Vandora (Mick) Baldwin of Hurricane and Anna Jo Jarrett of Plano, TX. Her four children; Daughters; Lynn Neal (Ric) of Hurricane, Sue Cottrell of Baltimore, Ohio. Sons; Rob (Toni) of Winfield and Greg (Diane) of Cross Lanes. Helen was also a loving and proud Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, her grandchildren; Madison Cole, Justin Cole, Chris Neal, Amanda Snyder, Jordan Cole and Brittney Cottrell and her great-grandchildren; Penelope Calhoun, Walt Cole, Gabe, Nik, and Ted Neal and A.J. and Eli Hinkle.

Service will be held Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 12:00pm, visitation one hour prior to the Service, at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home, 5233 Rocky Fork Road, Cross Lanes, WV, with Elders Lewis and Harold Johnson officiating. Burial immediately following the service at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
