Donna J McCormick

This beautiful soul was sent to us on November 18, 1956 and was called home to the arms of her savior, after an extended illness on November 15th 2020.

She was a loved Daughter, Sister, Mother and Grandmother, and was loved by many more.

Donna took great pride in her gardening, canning, cooking and our veterans. She found healing in music, and she always had a song to share with those she loved. Donna opened her home, heart and had a listening ear for those who were broken, wounded or lost without passing judgement.

Donna had a strong faith and a passion for our Lord, Jesus Christ.

In her last days at home she was accompanied by her cousin, who was more like a son to her. She always held a special place in her heart for Ryan Danaluk

Donna was preceeded in death by her brothers Kenneth Hayes of Nitro, WV and Michael Hayes of Nitro, WV. She was survived by Mother, Naomi D Cobb of Dunbar, WV, Brother Gregory Hayes of SC, Daughter’s- Christina E. Deaton of Dunbar, WV and Amy Jo Burdette of Nitro, WV and her 10 Grandchildren and 1 Great Granddaughter, whom were her pride & joy.

Memorial and celebration of life service wil be held at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home in Cross Lanes, WV in the Peace chapel on Saturday November 21st from 4-6pm.

All welcome, dress is casual.
