He was born January 5, 1946 in Kanawha County to Clovis and Rosa Jane Ramsey Casto, Sr. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Paula, son David Scott Casto, and sisters, Thelma Lynn Riggs and Betty Jo Berry.
He was a retired chemical operator from Bayer Crop Science and was a US Army Veteran. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend that will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by daughter Shelly Douglas of Charleston, sisters Karen Casto McBride, of Gallipolis, OH, and Frances Brown, of Nitro, brother Donald Casto of Charleston, nieces, nephews, and good friend Lori Clay of Milton.
Celebration of Clovis’s life will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Tyler Mt. Funeral Home with Celebrant HR Whittington presiding. Burial will follow in Tyler Mt. Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes with Military Rites conducted by St Albans VFW Post 6418 and American Legion Post 73.
Gathering of family and friends will be from noon until time of service at the funeral home.
