Brian Craig Holstein, 58 of Charleston, WV, formerly of Hernshaw, WV went home to his Lord and Savior on October 10, 2024 after a short illness. Brian was a member of the South Charleston First Nazarene Church and love to share the gospel with others.
Brian was born on February 25, 1966to Virginia and Lonza Holstein of Hernshaw, WV and was a 1984 graduate of East Bank Senior High School.
Brian retired from CAMC, where he worked the majority of his career. He also worked several jobs in the courier service. Brian met many people and always brought smiles to the faces of his patients and clients. He was very active for many years in the youth ministry of South Charleston Nazarene Church. Brian was especially known and loved for his sense of humor and the tricks he played on his friends, family and church family.
He was preceded in death by his father Lonza Holstein; brother-in-laws Walt Goodwin and Joe Sizemore, and niece Crystal Gaylor.
Brian is survived by his loving mother Virginia Holstein; sisters Judy Goodwin of Charleston, Frances (Mike) Goodwin of Charleston, Lynn Sizemore of Cross Lanes; brother Roger (Becky) Holstein of Citrus Springs; nieces Robin Hogsett of Charleston, nephews Scott (Michelle) Goodwin of Belle, Mick (Shawna) Goodwin of Charleston, Kenny Holstein of Dunnellon FL, Zach (Tori) Sizemore of Charleston, and numerous great nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Celebration of Brian’s life will be at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home 5233 Rocky Fork Road Cross Lanes WV at 2:00 p.m. Monday October 14, 2024. Pastor and friend, Roger Gogus officiating. Visitation with family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens following services.
