Born June 27, 1941 in Prineville, Oregon to Leo and Irene (Keaton) Reed, she married Wayne Prather on May 4, 1988 in Hannibal, Missouri. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Shawna Petra of Washington; one son, Tad (Robin) Ayers of Creve Coeur; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister and one brother.
Linda worked as a self-employed caregiver for many years in the area.
A loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother, Linda made those around her feel like family.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Her memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. . Pastor Paul Trilikis will officiate.
