Ronnie Jude Estrade

Ronnie is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Sheri Lynn (Sanchez) Estrade; his sons Joseph Estrade (Brittany Estrade) and Ryan Estrade (Allison Estrade); and his grandchildren Lane, Ender, Ella, Enzo and Ezzi. He is also survived by his mother Darlene Estrade; his mother-in-law Helen Scaffidi; his siblings Johnnie Estrade and Michelle Estrade; his brother-in-law Ronnie Sanchez, Jr. (Raquel Sanchez); and his nieces and nephews Melena, Parker, Maddie, Brayden, Adrianna, and Jace.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his father Milton Estrade and his father-in-law Ronald Sanchez, Sr.

Ronnie Jude Estrade, born on March 16th, 1972, was nurtured and guided by his loving parents, Darlene and Milton Estrade. Ronnie deeply admired his father, Milton, as his hero, and found unwavering love and support not only from his parents but also from his siblings, John and Michelle. Growing up in Slidell, Ronnie attended Salmen High School before pursuing higher education at the University of New Orleans.

Ronnie had a lifelong passion for weightlifting, inspired by Arnold Schwarzenegger. While in college, Ronnie's life changed when he met Sheri through mutual friends in Slidell, and they instantly knew their souls were destined to be together forever. Sheri described Ronnie as her heaven-sent angel, lifting her up, making her feel like a queen, and showing her unwavering love and support every day.

On April 30th, 1994, Ronnie and Sheri tied the knot on the lakefront in Mandeville. They are blessed with two sons, Joseph and Ryan, and three dachshund hound dogs: Copper, Luke, and Presley. The couple shared a deep love for Disney, creating lasting memories with their boys and extended family during annual trips.

Throughout his life, Ronnie embodied qualities of strength, loyalty, honesty, dedication, and passion. He dedicated 25 years to Walgreens, pouring his heart and soul into the company while prioritizing his family above all else. Ronnie's love and purpose revolved around his wife, Sheri, setting the standard for a true love story.

Ronnie cherished weekends exploring new places with Sheri, relishing each moment together. His legacy of love, strength, and dedication lives on through his loved ones who continue to be guided and protected by his spirit each day.

The legacy of Ronnie's love and spirit will always be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know him. While he may have left this physical world, his love and light will forever brighten the hearts of those he left behind. May he rest in peace, knowing that his love will endure in the hearts of all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Anselm Catholic Church, 306 St. Mary Street, Madisonville, LA 70447 on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 12:00 PM with visitation at the church beginning at 10:00 AM.
