Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Julie (Slovak) Waites; his son Robert J. Waites, Jr. (Kimberly) and his daughter Karen Waites Spahr (Jeff); his step-children David Kellerman (Liz), Michael Kellerman, and Quint Kellerman; his grandchildren Amelia Waites, Ryan Waites, Kerri Elizabeth Waites, Tyler Waites, Alexis Borne, and Macy Spahr; and his great-grandchildren Layton Niles and Joseph Waites . He is also survived by his sister Evelyn Eisenhardt, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Bob is preceded in death by his son Rodney Eugene Waites, his parents, and his brothers John Henry Waites and Thomas Mitchell Waites.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Grace Funeral Home, 450 Holy Trinity Drive, Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, April 1, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM in celebration of Bob.
