Dickie is preceded in death by his mother, Muriel Smith Blossman.
Dickie is survived by his children, Bailey Grace Blossman and Brennan Muriel Blossman (Ryan Gravolet), and his grandson, Finn Charles Gravolet. He is also survived by his father, Richard S. Blossman, Sr, his stepmother, Lynn S. Blossman, and his siblings, Ann R. Blossman, Amy R. Blossman, Linda Blossman Cunningham, (Honorable James Cunningham), Lane Blossman Perez (John R. Perez, III), and his stepsister Michelle Littlefield (James E. Littlefield, Jr.). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Dickie lived a wonderful life and enjoyed the love of his family and many lifelong dear friends. He was a swimmer and grew up having many fun times on the CCC swim team and boating on the Tchefuncte River. His love for boating continued throughout his life. He also loved to fly and got his pilot's license at a very young age. He spent his career in banking and real estate. He was an active parishioner and volunteer at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 501 Holy Trinity Drive, Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 12:00 Noon with visitation at the church on Tuesday beginning at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow the services in St. Lazarus of Bethany Memorial Garden, Covington, LA.
