Born with a name that perfectly captured her essence, Joy lived her life bringing laughter, love, and happiness to everyone around her. Known for her infectious humor and vibrant spirit, she was truly the life of the party, always making those around her smile, even during difficult times.
As a devoted mother, Joy cherished her daughter Brittany above all. Their bond was one of profound love and connection, filled with memories that will forever remain in Brittany’s heart. Recently, Joy had also embraced a new role as a grandmother to her precious grandson, Rory. Though her time with him was brief, her love for him was boundless, and she was overjoyed to witness the next generation of her family.
Joy also found great fulfillment in her career as a hair stylist, particularly in her work within nursing homes. There, she not only styled hair but also brought companionship and comfort to her clients, spreading the very joy that defined her character.
Her kindness, sense of humor, and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though she has left us far too soon, her legacy of joy and love will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and everyone whose life she touched.
Preceded in death by her parents Joseph Scontrino and Marie Gail (Conlee) George. Joy is survived by her daughter, Brittany Roberts (Cory) and her grandson Rory Roberts.
