I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Kitty.  I had the privilege of working with her on several Operation Smile missions.  I will always remember her as an extremely kind, tenderhearted and devoted nurse.   I specifically remember a time in Peru where she consoled and encouraged a very anxious mother.  Her smile and embrace transcended any language barrier.  I am a better person for knowing her.  You have my deepest sympathy.

Kitty and I toured Ethiopia in 2012 after an Operation Smile mission to Mekele, Ethiopia.  The tour was in May and we visited Axum where the Ark of the Covenant is suppose to be and Lalibela where the churches are carved out of the rocks and buried.  We ate at a restaurant in Lalibela named Ben Abebe and I remember how much Kitty enjoyed the view and the food.  She was a fun traveljng companion.  I am so sorry for your loss.  I am sure Kitty has a new job and is as busy as ever.

I knew her as Kitty. We  were members of the Basilica of Saint Mary in Norfolk Va.  She was a very kind and thoughtful person.  We will all miss her.

Catherine was a wonderful, kind, and generous individual.  She was a neighbor to my family when we lived on Chestnut Hill Road in Virginia Beach.  My late parents thought the world of her.  I saw her at  Church of the Ascension on occasion since I moved back to VB a few years ago and it was so nice to share family memories.  

My brothers join me in wishing her family our sincere condolences.
