Mr Wallace was one of our favourite customers at the bank. He always came with a compliment,  a joke and a smile. 
He will be fondly remembered and missed. Blessings and thoughts to his family from the ladies at the bank!

With sadness we read of the passing of Bob Wallace.  We first met Bob and Sandy Wallace at Byng Avenue Church when we moved to Oshawa in 1965. Doug and Loretta also attended along with other family members. 
Bob helped coach Church League Hockey players; our son Brian and Bob' son Robbie were on the team.  Sandy was an avid cheerleader. 
We will miss Bob and Sandy's friendship that we have enjoyed over the years.
Bob was a good speaker and knew his Bible.
Bob  has now joined Sandy in the presence of the Lord.

Wallace Family, you have our deepest condolences.  Your Dad/Gramps was one of the best.  Marty says, Bob was literally the Best man I ever knew.  The Wallaces were like family to us and embraced us both and all of our kids.  There are so many memories over the years and oh the stories Bob and Marty could tell of their time at GM.  So thankful that Bob and Sandy are together again, as they were largely inseparable here on earth.  Their lives have touched and enriched so many others and Bob's was truly a life well lived by a faithful man of integrity.  Marty and our boys all remember Wally Weekends at Buckhorn lake and who could snore the loudest!!
We will miss him and kinowing he is just a phone call away.  May God's peace sustain you in this time of deep sorrow!

Both Linda and I want to express our deepest condolences.  We were neighbours across the street in Wilmot. From the first encounter to my last encounter a year ago on my 80th, he was a genuine true friend. We are really going to miss him, especially his incredible upbeat personality & generosity are two of his many many many many admirable qualities.

One of the special memories I have of Bob is when I was 10 years old and Bob bought a new 1965 Pontiac Parisienne and he drove it out to Enniskillen to show it off to our family and he took me for a joy ride. He took Me, I was just a little boy and he made me feel so special. It was a beautiful car and he was so proud of that car and he talked about that car throughout his life. Bob was like a big brother to me. Just recently Bob told me that my Mom, Phyllis asked Bob to keep her family together and Bob made that promise and carried it out to the end. Bob was a honourable man, religious and well respected by everyone that knew him. I am going to miss him so bad and I know he's in heaven. Rest in Peace Bob. Love Steve & Marilyn Wallace xoxo

To my dearest brother Bobby. My words cannot express how much I am going to miss you in my life . You were such a compassionate, caring generous brother.  You constantly kept in touch with me and my husband Tony who loved you beyond words.  You and Sandy were so supportive in all the stages of our life. Your prayers and words meant so much to us. We're all going to miss your presence.  I remember the first time 32 years ago when I came out of Durham College and you were standing there leaned against your  blue buick with a bouquet of white carnations asking me to go for a coffee so you could get to know me. You were invested in me from the start and I watched you over the years help so many when they were in need. You were always supportive of me and told me how proud you were of my drive to work hard.   Just last week while on a date day with Macey you bought me a bowl of soup and there is so much of this between.  Thank you for being the best Dad and Gramps.💗

I’ve know Bob for more that 60 years. He was a true  friend and he had huge generous heart. Bob loved his family above all else and always had stories to tell.  He loved the game of golf and always made himself available to help his friends and neighbours. I enjoyed meeting Bob for coffee many a mornings and will truly miss our talks. I've known Bob, since Sunday school,  great guy,  always happy, love Bill Marshall 

He was a kind and sociable man.  Bob was the glue that kept our family close.  The Lord and Sandy will have a smile on their faces to have him home with them, but we will miss him here with us.  RIP, Bob.
