Donna Christine Bell

Peacefully, with her family by her side, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday February 5, 2016. Donna was 53 years young. Beloved wife of Rob Bell and loving mother of Christina and Natalie. Loved daughter of Ruth and Russell Gillam Cherished grandmother (Mema) of Gavin. Dearly loved by her siblings Steven (Glenn), Debbie (Mike), and Jeff (Kim). Fondly Remembered by many Nieces, Nephews and Friends and by her furry four legged friends. A special thank you to her best friend Karen Jones who stood by her side through thick and thin like a sister.

The family would like to personally thank Dr. Schattner, his nurse Anitta, and all the staff (including volunteers) at DCC for their compassion and care over the past 6 years. Even though the stay was short we would like to thank the Doctors and staff at C6 for making Donna's stay as comfortable as possible.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 12th at 2-4 p.m and 7-9 pm at the Courtice Funeral Chapel, 1587 Highway 2, Courtice (905-432-8484) with a Celebration of Donna’s Life at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday February 13, 2016, please wear bright colour apparel. Reception to follow for those who would like to attend after the funeral in the chapel. In lieu of flowers a donation to Hearth Place or Myeloma Canada would be appreciated.
