It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving wife, sister, friend, Lynn Hancock, on May 24, 2011. She passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital, at the age of 52, leaving behind her loving husband Trevor of 20 years; grandmother in law Agot; mother in law Helen; brothers in law Steven (Julie), and Jason (Le-Anne). beloved sister Rae-ann; nephews: Jessie, Wyatt, and Ethan; nieces: Megan, Sarah, and Alex; and great-grand nephew Cayden.
With many thanks to all who have helped make her last days comfortable at St. Joseph’s Hospital and special thanks to the Hospice Society, and the homecare nurses. She was a wonderful soul who touched the hearts of many.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Lynn on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Piercy’s Mt. Washington Funeral Home, 440 England Ave. Courtenay, BC.
