Ingrid Johanne McLeod, age 78, of Courtenay, British Columbia passed away at Glacier View Lodge on Thursday, October 10, 2024.
Johanne grew up in Saint John, New Brunswick, met Neil at a dance in the mid 1960's and were married in 1968. They moved to Halifax where their two children, Laura and Tim were born. The family moved to Port Alice, British Columbia in 1978.
She was a well-loved and respected nurse. In retirement she became an avid quilter and gifted many people with her work. She was a terrific mom and loved her grandkids tremendously.
Predeceased by her parents Leonard and Ingrid Drew, and brother Gerald Drew. Johanne is survived by her husband Neil McLeod, children Laura and Tim, grandchildren Aiden, Madison, Sawyer, Georgia and Piper as well as her brother Larry and sister Susan.
A Celebration of Johanne's Life will be held on Sunday November 24th, 2024 from 11:00am to 3:00pm at The Comox Legion Branch 160 1825 Comox Ave Comox BC V9M 3M3.
