Gordon was born and raised and worked in Port Alberni as a longshoreman.
He is survived by his first wife Margaret and their two children, Danny and Christine.
Second wife Darlene and her two children, Tammy and Jason. They shared six grandchildren. Also by sister Hazel, brothers Archie and Doug and their families. He is also survived by numerous other family members and his best friend Dale.
His great love was old cars, cold Lucky beer, Calamari the boat which he owned with Bob, hunting and his numerous trips to Mexico. He was a very hard worker who always found something to do whether it be a project or pranking.
