Emily was a force and a dear loving soul, a great example of what it means to live in the moment. She was fiercely independent, she had an amazing quirky/contagious sense of humour and laugh. Emily loved her friends and family, school, parties, babies, swimming, bowling, camping, movies, music, baking, helping, the colour yellow, big hugs and of course Friday night pizza and DQ.
Emily was over the moon to soon become an auntie by her big sister Cierra (baby Alice) and looking forward to back to school.
Emily leaves her devastated parents Kirsten Lowery and Todd Jenkins, sister Cierra, brother TJ, maternal grandparents Alison, Mark and fraternal grandparents Kerry (Bernie), Blaine, great grand parents and one 3x great grandmother, and many adoring aunts and uncles, cousins and true friends.
Until I see you again I will carry you in my heart and soul forever every day until my last breath.
In lieu of flowers, Emily’s family would like to honour Emily’s continuous charity work and ask that donations in Emily’s name be made to Mark R Isfeld (life skills program) or Yana (Comox Valley)
