Dave has left us to join his wife, Eileen Apr 20, 1935. Nov 1, 2014, he can again ask her "Can I have this dance for the rest of my life."
Dad's legacy will live on through his children Corey (Shelly), Laura and Wes. As Papa to Curt, Stephanie, Megan, Jess, Marci and Becky. As Papa-on-the-beach to Tay, Luke, Grace, Rosie, Lily, Noah, Cora, Millie, Tyler, Max, Mila, Gwen, Jamie.
Dave was born and raised in Vancouver. He moved to Powell River in 1955 to work in the Mill. In 1956 he married Eileen and took his young wife there to start and then raise a family. In Dec 1960 Dave joined the Powell River Fire Dept where he spent his career until his retirement in Dec 1991.
Dave and Eileen moved to Union Bay, Feb 1992. They spent their retirement involved with Union Bay Community Church, UB Community Club, and the UB Historical Society. Dave also served on the Board of Directors for UB Credit Union.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Dave at the Union Bay Community Club on June 8, 2024 from 1-4pm.
