Ove S. Anderson passed away June 3, 2012 in Irvine, California after a prolonged illness. He was born April 24, 1928 in Englevale, ND to Alma and Kernel Anderson. Baptized into the Lutheran faith as an infant and Confirmed, he remained a devout Lutheran. He married Glenda May (nee) Anderson in 1956 in Enderlin, ND. They had three daughters and one grandson. He served in the North Dakota National Guard and was called up to active duty during the Korean War. He worked forty years for Layton Soft Water/Culligan/US Filter in Santa Ana, CA.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, daughters, Ramona Wendt (nee Anderson), Merri Lynn Anderson, Camille Anderson, and one grandson, Jonathan Wendt, seven sisters, one brother, and numerous nieces and nephews. His parents and one sister preceded him in death.
Viewing/visitation will be on Monday, June 11th from 5-9 pm at Harbor Lawn Mount Olive Memorial Park & Mortuary in Costa Mesa. He will be interred at Riverside National Cemetery and given Military Honors. Graveside services will be private.
