Jesus Viramontes passed away, surrounded by his family, on May 17, 2021, in his Costa Mesa home. He was 77 years old. Remnants of his spirit exist in the handywork seen around his family’s home - no job was too large to handle, or too small to ignore. He passed on passions of joke telling, music making and fixing everything, to his sons and daughters.
Mr. Viramontes was well known for his artistic leatherwork, which he avidly crafted for over 40 years. The greatest legacy he passed on to his children and grandchildren is strong family values and unconditional love. He created everlasting memories for all his loved ones.
Jesus married Maria on May 18, 1967, and they spent 54 wonderful years together before his passing. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his children, Carmen, Esther, Arnie, Manny and Jose.
