After graduating from Ridgewood High School in 1977, Mitch joined the United States Army, serving his country proudly from 1977 to 1979. Mitch was an incredibly funny and loving person. He never met a stranger and could always make you laugh. He enjoyed camping, being outside, traveling, watching birds and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his mother, Rebecca (John Elson) Bell, his grandfather, Edwin (Joyce) Corder; his loving wife, Pamela Bell; his children, Nick (Breanne) Bell of West Lafayette and Matt (Rolanda) Royer of Kimbolton; nine grandchildren with one on the way; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Mike (Christy) Bell and Mark Bell both of West Lafayette.
He was preceded in death by his father, Sam Bell.
Per Mitchell’s wishes, a cremation will take place. Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home is serving the family.
