Betty enjoyed working; she co-owned and operated many businesses throughout the years. She also worked for Myers Country Diner in West Lafayette for 13 years before retiring at the age of 82. Betty enjoyed NASCAR and was an avid Rusty Wallace fan; she enjoyed going to yard sales, talking and meeting people, and spending time with her loving family. Betty will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Robert “Jeff” (Gail) Brickles of Coshocton, Helen “Suzie” Miller of Coshocton, Lori Lucas of West Lafayette and Jody (Connie) Brickles of Vernon, Florida, daughter-in-law Diana Brickles of West Lafayette; grandchildren, Christopher (Terri) Brickles, Charlie (Chrissy) Bryant, Emmett (Carley) Shaw, Chance (Alexis) Shaw, Jimmy Miller, Jason (Darcy) Brickles, Jarrod (Christina) Brickles, Jesse (Natasha) Brickles, Rain Lucas, Kaylyn Brickles, Robert Brickles and Solomon Brickles; great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Madison, River, Jordan, Carson, Madison, Kacie, Riley, Cameron, Ava, Easton, Aria, Corbin, Brayden, Bryson, Brody, Kylar, Akeria, Teagan, Jagger, Briah, Jayde, Cru, Chase, Isaac, Bentley and Waylyn; sisters, Mary Lou (Charles) Babcock of Coshocton and Carol (Gary) Wilkinson of Coshocton, and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her son, Russell Jay Brickles; grandson, Buck Lucas; son-in-law, LeRoy Miller, sister, Margaret Collins and brother, Donald Severance.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home is serving the family.
