Yolanda M. Garcia

She was born in Benavides, Texas on September 16, 1940. She was married to Ramon Garcia on December 13, 1955. Yolanda was a housewife and a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She had a passion for reading, listening to music, coloring, watching movies and playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. If you knew her you would know that she loved people and loved to hug everyone. Truly, everyone was her friend.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Garcia, her mother, Paula Hinojosa and her father, Ambrosio Maldonado. She is survived by her children, Ramon Garcia Jr. (Dora), Reynaldo Garcia (Imelda), Esmeralda Soto (Arturo), Delia Ballestreros (Jesse) and Imelda Garcia (Ruben).Yolanda also has 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She has a sister, Mary Lou Cantu (Luis), brother, Juan Salinas (Martha), sister, Adelfa Woodrell (Bob) and sister, Nita Gritte (Ray).

Funeral services will be held at St. Philip Catholic Church,3513 Cimarron Blvd, Corpus Christi, Texas. Visitation starts on October 6, 2021 at 9:45 am, rosary at 11:00 am, mass at 11:30 am and burial at 1:00 pm at Memory Garden Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas. Reception will follow at St. Philip Catholic Church Parish Hall.
