Victor Vallejo, 79, passed away on January 19, 2018. He was born in Realitos, Texas on March 23, 1938 to Luz Lopez Vallejo and Cecelia Vallejo. Victor worked at South Western Refinery until his retirement. He would work side jobs to make sure his family had everything we needed. He would make it and mom would stretch it. He was a family man and very proud of his family. Always presented us “This is my wife”…or “These are my daughters”, “My grandchildren”, always with such pride in his eyes for us. Victor had a love for his accordians and loved to play to Flaco Jimenez or Ramon Ayala. He loved to eat! He loved his carnezazoos (BBQ) but loved God most of all. We would catch him reading his Bible or kneeling down praying. He would give us his prayers every morning. He worked his hands and he worked his faith. He is preceded in death by two children, Daniel Vallejo and Jesus Vallejo; siblings, Juan Vallejo, Lucia Vallejo, Jose Angel Vallejo, Eleanor Vallejo, Petra Vallejo, Luz Vallejo, Victoria Vallejo, Victor Vallejo, Elias Vallejo, and Afilia Vallejo. Victor is survived by his sweetheart of 52 years his wife, Juanita Lamb Vallejo; his children, Victor Vallejo (Belinda), Martha Monica Vallejo-Morin and Jacqueline Lorraine Vallejo-Linan; His grandchildren, Harley Katelyn Vallejo, Ariel Kileen Vallejo, Savannah Lindsay Vallejo, Victor Christopher Vallejo, Jr.,Roman Xavier Vallejo, Joey Raymond Azocar, Genevieve Rose Morin, Solomon William Fuentes, Daniel Giovanni Linan and Nathaniel Kai Linan. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters, Josephina Vallejo, Fransica Vallejo, Felix Vallejo and Fidel Vallejo. Public visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Funeral Home and will continue with a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
