They married and became proud parents of Vanessa and Javier Vasquez. In addition to his profession of education Toby was an active member of the church and community.

Toby enjoyed being with family and friends. He was outgoing and friendly to everyone he met. He was a lifelong fan of the Houston Astros and Dallas Cowboys and loved to watch the games with his family. Making it a tradition, when his children were young, to attend games every summer at the Astrodome.
The family would like to thank Dr. Francisco Acebo and Dr. Karim Nooruddin as well as the medical staff at Spohn Shoreline and Corpus Christi Rehab for their dedicated service as his health deteriorated over these last few years.
