Santa Elena Tijerina, age 59, beloved Mother and Sister, was called to her eternal resting place with countless prayers and blessing from family and friends on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. Santa entered this world on August 8, 1961 in Corpus Christi, Texas born to Gilberto Ayala and Maria Isabel Lira Ayala.

Santa is survived by her mother Maria Ayala, daughter Maricella Fuentes, 6 grand-children and 13 great- grand kids, 3 brothers and 2 sisters,

Santa was preceded in death by her daughter Rachel Tijerina and father Gilberto Ayala

A family viewing for Santa will be held Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne St, Corpus Christi, Texas 78405. A holy rosary will occur Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 1:30 PM, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Corpus Christi, Texas 78405. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 2:00 PM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 710 S 19th St, Corpus Christi, TX 78405. A burial will occur Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd, Corpus Christi, TX.
