Samuel Lopez, 60, passed away on February 20, 2022 surrounded by his family. Born on December 5, 1961, in Falfurrias, Texas. He moved to Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of three. Sam went to school to be a barber and also had his CDL license. He worked for the City of Corpus Christi for 15 yrs. He was also a truck driver for various companies. Sam loved to spend time with his family but mostly his grandkids. He also loved to sing and dance. One of his favorite songs to sing to his grandchildren was "Rain Drops Keep Fallin' on My Head." To know Sam was to love Sam. He enjoyed making everyone laugh and teaching them his wisdom. He was a gregarious spirit and he will be missed by all.
Samuel is preceded in the death by his father Eulalio Lopez, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Yvonne Lopez, mother Irma Lopez, his 9 children Michelle Ramirez, Samuel Lopez II, Monica (Ismael) Velasco, Ashley (Byron) Warner, Alexander Lopez, Arnold (Jewels) Alaniz, Aaron (Chandrina) Alaniz, Matthew Lopez, Ariel (Matthew) Soliz; 3 brothers Eulalio ”Larry” Lopez, Richard Lopez, and Robert ”Bob” Lopez; 2 sisters San Juanita Garcia, Dominga “Dee Dee” (Raul) Charles; 23 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Samuel will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel - Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415.
