Rosa Barrera, 75, passed away on January 14, 2012. She was born to Jose and Brenilda Barrera on March 24, 1936. Before moving back to Corpus Christi upon her retirement, Rosa was employed as a secretary for several oil companies in Andrew, Texas. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and one sister. She leaves behind four sisters, four brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rosa was an active member of Yorktown Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the mission fund at Yorktown Baptist Church.
