Richard Vincent White

Richard Vincent White departed from this earth into the arms of Jesus Christ after a short illness, on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. Richard was the beloved husband of Martha. Richard was born December 23, 1941, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Richard and Marion White.

Richard was preceded in death by both parents and sister, Marlyn Mollica.

He served two years in the National Guard; four years in the U.S. Navy and 28 years in the Corpus Christi Police Department. Richard served with the Hostage Negotiator Team, Dive Rescue Unit, the Family Violence Unit, the Gang Unit, and Richard worked with the youth in the community against inhalant abuse. He was responsible in locking up the spray paints and preventing the sales to the youth. Richard will be greatly missed by his wife of 59 years and by his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Martha White; sisters, Bernadette Fratini (Mario) and Debbie Ellis; and four nephews, all of Philadelphia.

Memorial Mass to be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 9, 2021 at SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, 3210 SPID, Corpus Christi, TX 78415.
