Richard S. Sosa Santos

Richard is preceded in death by his father Benjamin C. Santos and his daughter Matilda Ruiz.

Richard graduated from Moody High School in 1973. He worked as a chef for Corpus Christi Town Club, Marine Drilling, North Shore Country Club, Marcos, Trinity Towers, and Esplanade. Richard shared his love of fishing with everyone.

He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Moreno; mother Josephine S. Santos; brother Armando S. Santos; sisters: Herminia S. Puebla, Theresa S. Gonzalez, Rebecca S. Smith; daughter Criselda R. (Jesse) Pico from Chicago, Ill; brother-in-laws Joe A. (Amelia) Garcia from Pharr, Texas, Jose Luis Garcia from Corpus Christi, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Funeraria del Angel Chapel, 549 Cheyenne, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. that evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at St. Josephs Catholic Church with interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mike Esparza, Lorenzo Nesta, Juan Salvador Puebla, Jr., Luis Cervantes, Joe Garcia, and Joe Garcia, Jr.
