Ramiro O. Vega Jr.

Ramiro O. Vega Jr. passed away on December 22, 2015 at the age of 54. He was born on November 20, 1961 in Corpus Christi, TX. Ramiro will be remembered for his love of working on cars, fishing, playing poker, football, going to garage sales, collecting Hot Wheels and barbequing. Ram proudly gave his life to Christ and was baptized in 2011. He was a loving, humorous man who will be dearly missed by all that loved him.

Ramiro is preceded in death by his father, Ramiro O. Vega Sr. He is survived by his mother, Tomasa Vega; loving wife of 21 years, Olivia Vega; daughters, Valerie M. Vega (Jaime Gonzalez) and Kristy J. Vega (Larry Rodriguez); son, Ramiro Vega III (Pamela Castro); stepsons, Sergio and Benjamin Vasquez; grandchildren, Jonathan, Alina, Juliana, Jaxen, Jairis, Ily Marie, Miilani, Josiah, Liliana and Kash and brother, Robert Vega (Robin).

Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd on Friday, January 1, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Chapel services will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will follow in Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

The family would like to thank all the doctors and medical staff that took care of Ram in Corpus Christi and at Hermann Memorial Medical Center in Houston.
