Ramiro Sanchez Sr.

Ramiro Sanchez Sr., age 74, gained his wings to the kingdom of our Lord on November 9, 2022. Born in Laredo Texas to Raul Sanchez Sr. and Manuela Mendiola Sanchez on June 14, 1948.

Ramiro is survived by his loving beautiful wife, Esperanza Sanchez; children, who he was a proud father of and loved dearly, Angela Marie Guerrero and Ramiro Sanchez. Left to cherish Ramiro Sanchez’s memories are his siblings, Belinda (Manuel) Ruiz, Silbia Sanchez, Sandra (Mario) Barrera, Andrés Sanchez, David (Rachel) Sanchez, Rolando (Anna) Sanchez and Jesse (Christina) Sanchez; grandchildren, Adalynn Grace Sanchez, Sandra Harper Sanchez, Gabriel Leo Sanchez, Leah Michelle Guerrero, and Nicholas Anthony Guerrero.

Preceded in death by his parents, Raul Sanchez Sr. and Manuela Mendiola Sanchez; daughter, Andrea Maria Sanchez; sister, Maria Luisa Sanchez Cholico; and brother, Raul Sanchez Jr.

Ramiro Enjoyed fishing with family and telling countless stories to his grandchildren. His love for his grandchildren was unconditional. He loved filling the room with laughter and smiles. Loved to surround himself with his family on all occasions. His presence will be missed dearly by his family, but they will treasure every happy memory he has left with them. Our hearts are saddened but soon we will be reunited once again.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, located at 8200 Old Brownsville Rd. Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM. A Catholic Mass will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022, at 9:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, located at 5830 Williams Dr., Corpus Christi, Texas 78412. A funeral cortege will depart the church at 10:00 AM for Rite of Committal and Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
