Michael was a graduate of Richard King High School and also Texas A & M University of Corpus Christi. He also served his country in the United States Navy for four years of active duty and continued his service as a reservist for 20 years. Michael was employed by the United States Postal Service for 24 years as a letter carrier until his death.
Michael enjoyed fishing, traveling, gathering with friends and family and visiting with his grandchildren. Most of all he enjoyed watching football, especially the Washington Redskins football team. He was a loving husband, son, father, and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his dad, William Watson Fiscus, II.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Barbarra McMinn-Gonzales; his mother Purification (Bea) Fiscus; children: Michael Anthony (Victoria) Gonzales, Stephen Daniel (Alexis) McMinn, Natividad Michael (Alicia) Arriola, and Gabriella Nicole Arriola (James Lemos); siblings: Michael (Jennifer) Fiscus, Billy (Laura) Fiscus, James (Cassie) Fiscus, Danny (Tara) Fiscus, and Melinda White, Rodana (Rob) Henderson, Tammie(Larry) Lewis; and 15 grandchildren.
A visitation for Michael will be held Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Everhart, 4901 Everhart Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78411 with Funeral Services at 4:00. A cremation will occur and will be followed by Interment with Full Military Honors at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, 9974 IH 37 Access Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78410, date to be determined.
