Mary Katherine Hernandez

Mary was born in Robstown, Texas on September 12th, 1944. Mary graduated from Mary Carroll High School in Corpus Christi, Texas.

She was married to Juan B. Hernandez for 38 years. She spent her life as a homemaker raising 5 children and cherishing her twelve grandchildren.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Cecilia and Higinio M. Rodriguez; beloved husband, Juan B. Hernandez, Sr., and daughter Bernice Hernandez. Mary’s family is in comfort knowing her faith has reunited her with her parents, husband and daughter.

Her memory lives on with her children Maria Franco Davila, Janie Hernandez, Michelle Reyes (Rene), Juan B. Hernandez, Jr. (Cindy); twelve greatly loved grandchildren, Julian, Joe, Kammie, Michael, Michelle, Michaela, Breanna, Rene Jr, Cain, Tabitha, Rowdy, Alex and numerous great grandchildren.

Mary’s legacy will carry on forever reminding us that our strong faith and family are everything.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Juan B. Hernandez Jr., George Hernandez, Cain Hernandez, Julian Franco, Rene Reyes Jr., and Michael Hernandez .

Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 12:00 pm.

Rosary and Mass to be held at St. Cyril and Methodius on the same day, Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
