Martha Gonzales, age 67, died peacefully and comfortably surrounded by her family and loved ones on October 4, 2023, in Corpus Christi, Texas. After a long four-week battle, her Father in Heaven called her home.
Martha was born on January 3, 1956, in Mathis, Texas, to her mother and father. She was the oldest of her siblings and always looked after them. Martha was loving, caring and had the biggest heart, she was always willing to help out wherever she needed whether it be making tamales or confetti eggs for the family she was always up for a project. We’re going to greatly miss her cooking and seeing her come to life on the dance floor surrounded by her family is what made her the happiest. If you knew Martha there’s a few things you could always count on, good food, lots of smiles, and a cigarette and lighter. We couldn’t have asked for a better Momo, and will miss Martha every day. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her.
Martha will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Crystal and Danielle Gonzales; her grandchildren, Damian and Anakin Butler, Keirsten (Mathieu) Shutts, Vernon Cordova III, Earl Ramon Ben Jr., Jaydrian, and Janelle Rocha; her great-grandchildren, Cameron Gomez and Aliana Cordova; her brothers and sisters, Angel (Adelina) Ybarra, Chris Camacho, Maximo (Irma) Camacho, Johnny Camacho, Joe Camacho, Isaac (Lynn) Camacho, Dolores Lara, and Juana (Joseph) White.
