Lydia will be remembered for her beauty, inside and out. Her laugh and smile was infectious. She placed the care of others before herself. She taught by example, the importance of integrity and education. She loved and valued reading. She leaves a legacy as being a loving wife of 55 years and a mother who always put her children’s needs first. Her teachings will impact the lives of generations to come.
She is preceded in death by her son, Ronald Rincon.
Lydia leaves behind her husband, Frank A. Rincon of Corpus Christi, Texas; son, Frank A. Rincon of Dallas, Texas; daughters, Bertha (Benjamin) Sequeira of San Antonio, Texas, Priscilla E. (Randy) Briguglio of Canfield, Ohio, Sheila F. Bentley of Danville, California; grandchildren, Michelle Trevino, Elaine Pedraza, Ben Sequeira III, Blythe Thorne; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Mercedes Deanda; brother, Pedro Hernandez; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 22, 2011 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 10:00 am at Corpus Christi Cathedral, with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
