Linda Lois Bray

Linda Lois Bray 73 of Kingsville, Texas passed away on June 7, 2022 peacefully at home. She was born in Perryton, Texas and spent the majority of her life living in South Texas and also on the Central Coast of California. Linda graduated from HM King High in 1966. She held many different careers in her lifetime including working for the Kingsville Record, a house parent at Youth City, a CNA and activities director at various South Texas nursing homes, and she also worked at plant nurseries in the area. She was lifelong lover of dancing and music and square danced for years as long as she was able. She called numerous churches her spiritual home including First United Methodist Church in Kingsville, and then later in life attended Pilgrim’s Rest Missionary Baptist Church and Ground Zero Biker Church in Corpus Christi, TX. She loved life in every way and always remained a positive uplifting person throughout life. She never met a stranger. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

She is reunited in Heaven with her parents, Keith Bray and Tom and Betty Dean; as well as sister, Claudia Meek. Her great-grandsons Gavin Sandoval and Oliver Alvarado are also rejoicing at their Memaw’s arrival.

She leaves her loving memories to her children, James (Melissa) Mineau, Roni Cavazos and Trisha (Noe Cantu) Alvarado. Left to remember her as well are her siblings, Alice Cade and Roy Bray, her thirteen loving grandchildren, plus her twelve great-grandchildren, and her lifelong friend Rome Berg, plus her dear friend Virginia Garcia.

Funeral Services will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd. in Corpus Christi, TX on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at 5:00 PM and then Monday, June 20, 2022 at 10:00 AM. Burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

The family would like to thank everyone for all the calls, texts, flowers, food and expressions of love and support during this difficult time.
