Juan R. "Johnny" Castillo

He was surrounded by his family and friends as our Lord and Savior called him home on Tuesday, February 3, 2015.

He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on May 1, 1950 to the late Lydia Villarreal and Luciano Lozano Castillo.

Johnny was the third of nine children. He retired from Petty Ray Oil Industry and worked for Cantu Mobile for many years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, oldest sister, Maria M. Castillo and his life time partner, Maria G. Benavidez.

He's survived by his brothers and sisters: Luciano (Juanita) Castillo Jr., Luis (Adela) Castillo, Teresa (Ray) Villanueva, Elenor Guzman, Angel (Esmeralda) Castillo, Claudia Castillo, Rosa Linda (Stanley) Vera. He leaves behind to cherish his memories by his children and step children: Albert (Marissa) Castillo, David (Cynthia) Castillo, Maria Dolores Castillo, Margarita (James) Lafferty, John Ross (Betty) Castillo and step children; Mark (Margie) Benavidez, Ida (Douglas) Grimes, Ruben Benavidez, Tuesday Benavidez and Daisee (Roshawn) Benavidez. Johnny also leaves a legacy of 22 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and 19 nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.
