Janet Burnside Lange

Janet Burnside Lange, 53, resident of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away peacefully in her home on February 20, 2012. Janet was surrounded by her family as she made her way Home. Janet was born in Robstown on July 1, 1958 and raised in Corpus Christi. She graduated from Tuloso Midway High School and held many positions there (educating and administrating). She loved teaching and mentoring students.

She was one of three children born to L.A. and Norma Burnside and was the beloved wife of Carl Lange for 20 years. Janet will forever be remembered by her girls; Sydni Robertson (Anthony), Caitlin Lange, and Kelsey Lange. She is survived by her devoted brothers Tracey Burnside (Kathy) and Clifford Burnside (Stephanie), her grandchildren Alliee, Steven, Colby Robertson, and her grandmother Elsie Thiem; along with numerous nieces, nephews and countless other family and friends whom were blessed to know her. Janet loved spending time with her children, on the Frio River, painting, and quilting.

Janet touched the lives of many people with her smile, generosity, and integrity, she maintained her trademark smile all the way to her final day. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 2:00 pm at River Hills Baptist Church, 16318 Fm 624, Robstown, TX 78380.
