Iris Edith Lopez

Daughter of Victor and Marysela Mendoza. Beloved sister of Dolly Taylor and Victor Manuel Mendoza. She is survived by her loving children Ivette Hernandez and Gabriel Hernandez, her beloved nephew Ryan Taylor and beloved niece Jenny Taylor. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends whom she loved dearly. Iris had an amazing sense of humor and a beautiful contagious laugh.

She was kind and generous. She believed in autonomy and dignity and a persons right to chose the life they want. Iris was an amazing mother and tia. she loved photography and took many family pictures. She was very passionate about genealogy and her family history. Iris will be greatly missed by all those she left behind.

We are so heartbroken by this unexpected loss.

A visitation for Iris will be held Friday, May 13, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel - Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415, followed by a vigil service and rosary at 7:00 PM.
