Homero Marroquin Rodriguez

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Pedro Rodriguez, Jr. and sister, Oralia Rodriguez Reyna.

Homero was a retired carpet and floor layer as well an accomplished musician who played with the Beto Leal Orchestra in the late 50’s to the early 60’s. He devoted his musical talent for the last 50 years at Christ the King Catholic Church and other religious activities.

He is survived by his loving wife, Juanita A. Rodriguez; children, Homer Rodriguez, Jr. of Fort Erwin, Ca., Irma Perez, Joe Rojas; aunt, Lupe Rodriguez; brothers, Oscar (Nena) Rodriguez, Dagoberto Rodriguez of Corus Christi, Texas; 3 grandchildren, Robert and Michael Rodriguez, Alondra Perez and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary recited that same evening at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly chapel. Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 31, 2012 at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
