He is preceded in death by his father, Guadalupe Zuniga, Sr., his mother Manuela Castro Zuniga and also his brother Juan Zuniga and his stepson Leroy Salazar.
He is survived by his wife Araceli Aguirre Zuniga, his son Guadalupe Zuniga, II, ten brothers and sisters, 5 stepchildren and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly.
He will be dearly missed by his many friends and ex–coworkers.
The family wishes to thank them for their help during this very difficult time.
Visitation will be on Sunday, May 17th, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel and his rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. His high mass will be celebrated at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 18th, 2015. Interment with full military honors will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
The Air Force Honor Guard will have a 21 gun salute. He served in the Vietnam War and made Sergeant before leaving the service. He loved his country and he loved his family.
Reception will follow at the V.F.W. Hall at 12030 Leopard Street in Calallen.
